Security Settings

Security Settings

As a project manager, you can configure some security settings specifically for your project. These settings can be overridden by Company Administrators.

  • Require single sign-on (SSO). This option only appears if your Squish company subscribes to the SSO module. This checkbox can be marked to require users accessing this project to authenticate via SSO. If all users for the company are required to authenticate via SSO, then this checkbox does not have any effect.
  • Require multi-factor authentication (MFA). This checkbox can be marked to require users accessing this project to provide a second authentication factor.
  • Allowed SSO identity providers. This field allows the Project Administrator to select one or more SSO identity providers. Only users authenticating with the selected providers can access this project. If blank, then users authenticating with any provider can access the project if they have appropriate permissions.

Note: SSO or MFA may be required for the entire Squish company. If this is the case, then the corresponding option to require it for the project will not be displayed on this page. The requirement for SSO or MFA for one project will dictate that the project members use SSO or MFA for every login to the Squish company.
