The 2017 BSI User Conference is fast approaching!

It will be held Wednesday, April 26th and Thursday, April 27th, at The Hotel at Arundel Preserve, in Hanover, MD. A variety of topics related to the theme “Sharing Stories, Exploring Potential” will be covered during the conference.

A presentation given by Gwendolyn Goedbloed, the Head of the Janssen R&D Global Biobank, will explore BSI’s role in standardizing workflows, managing repositories, and increasing efficiency on a global scale. Steve Berg, a Senior Project Specialist at Precision for Medicine, will present on collection kit workflows. A presentation from a leading industry expert will shed light on various technical aspects of BSI to consider when setting up the system. Other topics will focus on how to harness the full suite of BSI systems products, including BSI Hub, Data Warehouse and BioShare, to further your organizational goals in conjunction with existing BSI functionality.

A deep dive into BSI Connect, our webservices API, will be presented in conjunction with a presentation on LIMS integrations from CGR/DESL, part of NCI’s DCEG. These presentations will provide an overview of existing webservices which are available and the ways they have been used by DCEG to integrate systems. A presentation on label printing in BSI will feature a discussion of Bartender label software led by IPSi, a software integrator.

In addition to these topics, BSI Support Staff will present on strategies and tools for improving efficient use of BSI. Advanced methods for working in BSI will be covered, including tools in templates, data entry, requisitions, and other modules. There will also be two Q&A panels, where both IMS staff and BSI user presenters can be asked any remaining questions.

You can register for the conference here, until April 14th.

We hope to see you there!
